Summer 2020 Customer Experience Intern

The intern will work with our team of talented event planning and marketing professionals. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and will receive first-hand experience in event planning and development of brand-building relationships. Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, interested in a career in corporate events. An ideal candidate would be currently enrolled in a Marketing program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

  • Work with the Director and Senior Manager of Customer Experience to help implement the CX roadmap, strategy, and communication plan.
  • Work with Sr. Customer Experience Manager to help survey all customer types to gauge customer experience and gather feedback around ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze the voice of customer data for key themes and trends.
  • Prepares and delivers presentation(s) on the assigned topic(s).
  • Attends unit, departmental, and corporate meetings as assigned.
  • Shows learning and both personal and professional growth and understanding of responsibilities.
  • Gains an understanding of how AF Group runs and how Workers Compensation Insurance works.
  • Shows punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude when completing assignments.
  • Manages multiple deadlines.
  • Completes miscellaneous assignments as assigned.
  • Uses company software applications to complete assignments.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Responds to internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Performs other related duties that may not be specifically listed in the position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's class of work.

Summer 2020 Customer Experience/Project Management Intern

Spartan Experience Intern

With over 700 service center employees, 300,000 packages, and upwards of 500,000 interactions at service centers each year, the hall desks are the primary means of service delivery to Spartans. Additionally, the Housing Assignments Office takes in almost 75,000 contacts each academic year from students, families, guests, and community members. The Spartan Experience Intern will help us to evaluate the experience, build training programs, and chart a path forward to ensure each Spartan is given an outstanding experience in housing.

Summer 2020 Customer Experience Intern – Troy, Michigan

Seco Tools cuts metal to make tools – it’s that simple (at least until your first day). Our tools help build planes, trains, and automobiles, and everything else around us. Your phone case? The molds are cut and created by our tools. The lenses in the glasses you wear? Cut by our tools. Your grandma’s knee replacement? You guessed it - our tools cut and shape that metal. The Chicago Bean in Millennium Park was created by our tools. The Day to Day:

  • Support of multi-channel communication with customers including but not limited to: phone, email – future channels will include chat, SMS, WhatsApp.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with our customers, and sales organization.
  • Order desk functions including order processing, providing quotes, facilitating returns, providing tracking details and invoices by answering incoming customer inquiries through the above-mentioned platforms anchored in the idea of customer ease of use.
  • Technical product training to gain a better understanding and basic level of knowledge of our products.
